The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. For more than 50 years we have fostered the knowledge of German and intercultural exchanges around the world. We offer German courses at every level all year round along with optimal preparation for our internationally recognised examinations. Our individual consultation and service will ensure your success. All courses include an extensive cultural and leisure-time programme, accommodation booking services and free access to our self-learning centres.
Bremen is a lively Hanseatic city with a world-class port an a long-standing trading tradition. Top-level research and the innovative, real-world cooperation between business, academia and the city earned Bremen the title of "The city of the Sciences 2005". It was the first German city to win this honour. Bremen has plenty of cultural life to offer as well, with more than a dozen museums large and small. It is also home to the Bremer Tanztheater, the Bremer Shakespeare Company and the German Chamber Philharmonic.
