As the first and only thematic university in Turkey specializing in Behavioral Sciences and Health, Üsküdar University is deeply committed to upholding the highest standards in education.

Üsküdar University’s Path to English Proficiency

Üsküdar University’s Foreign Languages Coordinatorship is a key part of its academic offerings, providing students with a high-quality English language education. The Foreign Languages Coordinatorship’s mission is to equip students with the linguistic and academic skills necessary to excel in their faculty studies. The program, which follows the internationally recognized Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), focuses on developing students’ accuracy, fluency, and critical thinking skills in English.

The school operates on a flexible modular system, allowing students to progress at their own pace while tracking their achievements in real time. The curriculum covers A1 to B2 levels, with specialized courses in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and an advanced C1 program for students seeking to further enhance their language proficiency. This learner-centered approach promotes autonomy, life-long learning, and a classroom environment where instructors act as facilitators.
